[NU Sports] UMich Investigating Allegations of ImproperPractices--Rich Rod in Deep Doo Doo

While the investigation may or may not turn out to be big trouble for Big
Blue, what their fans should be worried about is how many players RichRod
has thoroughly ticked off. Multiple players were responsible for the
reports to the newspaper and presumably to the NCAA about the training
violations, which means the dislike of RichRod must run deep. That won't be
fixed easily or quickly, even if he survives a thorough NCAA investigation.
Of course, if an investigation confirms the players' story, as is likely,
then he is in even more trouble. Michigan has never suffered serious NCAA
violations in football and won't take those lightly - especially if they
keep losing.
