[NU Sports] TV for the Syracuse game

Note that the Big East has an agreement with ESPN and ESPN+ (regional
syndication, like the Big Ten had prior to the Big Ten Network) and they
typically only announce game TV schedules 2 weeks prior to the games. So,
we should hear the TV network & time on September 7th.
Look at the Big East schedule here and you'll see the NU/Syracuse game is
the only one listed as TBD on Sept. 19th:
http://espn.go.com/ncf/conferences/schedule?confId=10
I would imagine that this game will end up on TV and will potentially be in
the 12PM ET time slot (only one other Big East game is in that slot right
now), and will likely be on ESPN+. If that's the case, then it's up to
local affiliates whether or not to pick up that game, although I would
imagine that at the very least a Chicago station (CBS2 has picked up ESPN+
games in the past) will pick up the game.
It's not time to create an uproar yet; note that this is the ONLY NU game
this year that will not definitely be put on TV (since the rest of the games
are home games or Big Ten games that are covered by ABC/ESPN/2 or the BTN).
And since Syracuse is a somewhat popular BCS-conference team it is bound to
get at least a little bit of attention. And I don't think televising this
game has ANYTHING to do with Big Ten expansion - which I doubt we will see
anytime soon anyways (and I also doubt Syracuse would be the team the Big
Ten would pursue, otherwise it would have happened already).
