[NU Sports] It's the Land of Lincoln Trophy

Gee,I was kind of disappointed that they didn't go along with the suggestion of someone who had suggested "The Governors Trophy" depicted by a bag of money, That was a hilarious idea. Calling it the Lincoln Trophy makes a lot of sense, but don't bet that some Illinois pols won't try to grab some TV time the first time it is awarded. They will be all over it like a cheap suit. but after that they can crawl back into the woodwork.
