Wow. And I thought I knew why we were unprepared for a shootout
in the Rose Bowl. But since we've learned today that we were using a
spread offense in 1995, I'm really mystified as to why we weren't
ready for an offensive shootout.
On the plus side, we REALLY were ahead of the curve in 1995. Or the
author of the article is about 13 years behind it.
