I saw it the other day, very good piece of journalism about a real tragic  
event and the shortcomings of our legal system.

For  tomorrow's 30th anniversary of the tragic death of Angels outfielder 
Lyman  Bostock, ESPN's "Outside the Lines" program is scheduled to reair the 
piece I  worked on, 3pm Eastern/2pm Central/Noon Pacific.  You can also see it  
online @ http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/otl/index.  The Chicagoland  connection 
is that Bostock was shot in Gary, hours after playing at Comiskey  Park.

Bostock was a very unusual guy - - he gave away his first month's  salary 
with California, because he didn't think he'd earned  it.
