I think they *can* be good without Sutton, they just weren't on Saturday. Conteh's a good back, but he needs some blocking to work with. 

However, the offense is certainly a much, much better with Sutton than without. Very good news that both he and C.J. will be back for Iowa. 

I did notice C.J.'s hand was bothering him late in the game--hadn't realized he hurt it so early. As off as he was throwing the ball for much of the game, he sure ran hard in the 4th quarter, which helped save the day.
