I don't think Happ actually graduated from NU, but left after his third 
season
(2004) when he was drafted by the Phillies.

He's worked his way thru the organization, started one game in the majors in
2007, and apparently has finally made the big club this year and was given 
shot
at starting after spending much of August in the bullpen.

Happ's start last season was a disaster.  His three starts this season have 
been excellent, and he'll get another chance against the Braves Monday 
night.  He's not afraid to pitch inside.  As a reliever, however, he's been 
a disaster.  1 1/2 up on the Mets with 6 (Phillies) and 7 (Mets) left to 
play.  GO PHILLIES GO!
