[NU Sports] Big Ten losses and why I love them

I'll second that. You can really see this becoming Fitz' team right now. The two new coordinators seem to be good hires - still feeling out the O, but I love that the D adjusts. And a renewed focus on special teams.

Every time the cameras cut to Fitz on the sidelines I'm just filled with purple pride. He never seems to lose his cool, his eyes still burn with intensity and every time he speaks he exudes integrity. He is the NU ideal and shows it every week on the field.

I just love that Big Ten Network commercial with all the coaches giving their recruiting pitch. Sure, JoePa steals the show with his hammy line at the end, but a lot of 'em come across as slick or cocky and then pops in Fitz with eyes of determination and a succinct and strong, "Northwestern."

Let's hope he's our man on the sidelines for many years!
