[NU Sports] Big Ten losses and why I love them

dOSU will be alright. They are still miles above everybody else in the Big Ten.

Wisconsin and Penn State appear better than I thought. I am pleased they are not on our schedule.

The rest of the league is a toss-up. How can Michigan be that bad?!?

77 degrees and clear with light southerly winds for Saturday sounds a lot better than last week. Hopefully our guys will be ready.

Tyron Carter is still the best pure tackler I have ever seen. I still think we should have him give the current players a "tackling clinic", although we appear to be tackling considerably better than last year.

Same thing with Minnesota from 1999 (three plays away from undefeated) to 2000 (just about everyone back--well, except for Tyrone Carter--and more offensive firepower, beat tOSU in Columbus but lost to NU and IU, among others).
