May be a repeat, but this is true about SIU:  allowed  over 400 passing yards 
to Hampton U.  They were benefited by 5 turnovers on  their way to a 37-31 
win last Saturday.  Last year, they edged NIU in  an exciting game, but their QB 
has graduated, as well as many of his supporting  cast.
  Yes , it's a scary, non-conference opponent that we historically  have 
problems with.   But I'll give an early prediction.
   We will roll to a big: over a 17 point victory for the  following reasons. 
1) crappy non-conference game is behind us, and we won at  Duke.  2) we're 
home  3) after New Hampshire in 2006, as eyes will be  focused on SIU  4) most 
important: defense is better 5) new coaches galore  at SIU 6) They employ a 
3-4; lot's of room for Tyrell  7) gave up 400 yard  passing to Hampton 8) we 
won't turn the ball over 5 times like Hampton  did.
   Cats drill SIU 45-13 this weekend.  I'm 1-1 on my  predictions this 
season; I saw a high scoring affair in the Syracuse game which  didn't happen for 
Syracuse (I predicted a Cat win) , and I had the Duke game  solved by predicting 
a 1 score win by the Cats. (for the record, I predicted  31-24 Cats).  Let's 
see if the Cats can deliver a 3 scores over opponent  win on Saturday.
