FW: [NU Sports] Whew!

NU's new OC, Mick McCall, was the OC at Bowling Green last year, and prior
to that was the QB coach there (he coaches both Jacobs and Harris who were
rather good QBs). Prior to that he was a position coach at some schools,
but most of his career was spent as a high school coach at a big program in
Colorado. While he doesn't necessarily have as much experience as an OC at
the college level, he's been involved in coaching for a long time, and does
have some experience running the spread offense. I would expect some
hiccups while transitioning to a new coordinator, so hopefully things will
pick up soon.

Regarding Duke's no huddle, they rushed to the line, and if the defense was
set in place (which it almost always was for NU) they looked at the sideline
for the play call. They ran the clock a good amount while waiting for the
call. NU's no huddle was a bit different as they got to the line but didn't
set before looking over for the play call. I agree that it was annoying,
though, even more on the internet TV where there was no play clock or other
graphics on the screen.
