[NU Sports] Any word on CJ yet?

In the Monday press conference, Fitz said CJ's status was "questionable" and
that he would not be practicing early in the week and his status would be
updated later on (the normal injury report comes out on Thursday).

The Sun Times reported that CJ's right hamstring was strained but was
apparently not torn (assuming to be confirmed by MRI), which means he just
has to get well enough to be able to run well.

Chatter on the message boards indicates that it is doubtful he will start -
due to the nature of hamstring injuries it will basically make him a statue
in the backfield, and NU will need a mobile QB to evade pressure and make
plays with his feet on Saturday. Therefore, it is likely that Kafka will
start (although don't count out playing time for Persa if things don't go
well).

I think the real status is that nobody really knows who will start until
they jog out onto the field Saturday morning.
