:) - how did I know that our Orlando Chamber of Commerce member would be a bit peeved about that. All in good fun.
No argument on the tourists - that's what I said "aside from Mickey" - Orlando is definitely the better family vacation spot.
But I've been to Orlando a few times and outside of the theme parks, I would take Arizona every day of the week. I remember having to get up early for NUMB rehearsal in the misty fog of the humid mornings because the afternoons were just too gawdawful muggy. Midday thunderstorms. Little green critters and mosquitoes everywhere.
I was talking more of the non-kiddie stuff. Phoenix has more than its share of five-star spas and resorts, plenty of lush golf courses and more dining and entertainment options within walking distance of the stadium (plus plenty more in the valley overall. And while Florida has plenty of beaches, I don't remember one near Orlando!
And no humidity. No thunderstorms. No mosquitoes.
But like I said, I mostly just want 'em to come here so I can see a game this year. Any bowl is fine, but west is best!

I'm all for that! Actually, the only sniff of NCAA action during my years in NUMB was the women's 12-seed berth in 1997. And we really lucked out as George Washington hosted the regional NU was sent to -- it could have been Ruston, Louisiana among others. That was a fun weekend in DC aside from the game.
But first things first - BEAT INDIANA!!!
GO CATS!!!
