Well, I am one happy alum who WAS at the game today. And what a beautiful day it was. Got a chance to meet list member Michael Vance, who threw one outstanding Mardi Gras themed tailgate, complete with jambalaya, gumbo and Pat O'Brien's hurricanes! Thanks, Michael!

My daughter is also one very happy NU student, and she was able to get me a new NU Purple Haze t-shirt that was handed out. 48-26 over Purdue; fairly comparable to the 38-14 victory over the Boilers when I was a senior in 1970.
