As a Sox fan, gloating somewhat (we one one playoff game, at least, when predicted to go nowhere...)
In last year's playoff sweep, the cub's big bats (Lee, Ramirez, Soriano) were silent.? This year, same thing.? Issue was not addressed between seasons.
Of course, last year the Sox were old and slow, and lost 90 games.? This year, they were still old and slow, but made the playoffs.? Which feels a bit better.

Yeah, and did he make an appearance in their short post-season?
This was a team that rode into the playoffs by scoring runs, which they
seemed to forget how to do in October. :sigh:
I really think the catcher and the pitcher should have each booted the
ball once in game 2 to make it a clean sweep of errors by the entire infield.
