I can guarantee none were against ohio state. Who in the midwest would have homecoming in late november ?

I suspect you're right. There was a graphic during the Michigan game
that Schembechler won all of his homecoming games and I think the
announcers also said they'd won something like 30 straight homecomings.
(That streak, if it was still active, ended on Saturday.)
I suspect none of those were against Ohio State and precious few were
against Michigan State, Penn State or Wisconsin.
