If Fitz is going to be inundated with offers, then it is up to our  
administration to step up to the plate and do what it takes--within reason--to  keep 
him at his alma mater.  If anyone is capable of making NU a  destination and a 
contender in the conference on a semi-regular basis, it is PF,  given his 
background and his personality and skill sets.  RW never wanted  to go anywhere 
else, and hopefully Fitz will follow in his mentor's footsteps,  provided is 
provided with the resources (facilities, talent, promotion) and  incentive (salary 
for him and his assistants) that persuade him to stay.  I  don't see going to 
ND as a major threat at this point, as their football program  over the past 
several seasons is verging on the disfunctional, and also one  of the 
highlights of Fitz's career had to be the feeling he had walking off the  field after 
we beat them 17-15 the first game of the 1995 season.  Seeing  Fitz in Green 
and Gold would be like seeing Bret Favre in a Bears uniform (not  Jets, guys, I 
like that one.:-)).
