I too have followed Vandy for years as my brother went there for
undergraduate school. While I'm thoroughly enjoying their season so far,
I'm not as keen on the end of season game with Wake Forest as some. My
enthusiasm for that has been taken away since I know that Vandy canceled a
contract with the University of Louisville just to be able to sign a
contract with Wake. What is it with our peer instiutions and football game
contracts anyway? That makes two (Duke being the more notorious other one)
that have done so. At least Vandy was gracious enough to settle promptly
without going to court and using the "we're awful" defense used by Duke.
