As one who actually does scheduling for a baseball league....
We have 12 teams, but 8 of them are in the North end of the state and 4 are in
the south.
As a result we wind up with 3 - 4 team divisions which is fine until the state
tournament, where everyone wants to rank the teams based on games won,
regardless of how they finished in the regular season.
I actually have to use a multi league software package and merge them to come up
with a complete schedule, altho its going to be trickier next year since we lose
a week of our season.
But as I say, if it was easy, anyone could do it....
