Doesn't matter over who. "First bowl win in 60 years" makes a nice headline.

After all, a bowl win is the one thing NU hasn't done since 1995 to erase the Dark Ages. Time to get one.

So my belief is let's go to Orlando and stomp an eminently beatable ACC team. Alamo? No thank you, I've seen all the Big 12 contenders and I don't think NU's offense can keep up. 

I do concur that it would be neat to play on New Year's Day and I am not overwhelmed by LSU or South Carolina, esp. the latter. I would hate being passed over by the Outback in favor of the bumblebees (may their RVs have flat tires en route).

Still, the best chance for a win and a 10-win season is in Orlando.
