I think a couple reasons ...

- Iowa's been to Tampa a couple times in recent years
- There's still this myth about the Chicago media market backing NU or Illinois (the Illini used that last year) that helps
- We're ranked and Iowa isn't
- WE BEAT IOWA!!!

I still think it's 50/50, but at least we're up at having an even shot. Plus, the folks in Tampa never really seem too concerned with ticket sales - they're hosting the ACC title game this weekend after all - and know the early kickoff usually leads to a lot of empty seats (see recent year games that did not include the Gators). If they get a good TV matchup for early New Year's Day, they're good.
