Sometimes brilliant, sometimes brutal, previously undefeated NU overcame
ball-handling blunders to lead by as many as 12 points late in the first
half, then unraveled and lost to unbeaten Butler 57-53.

"It was one extreme to the other, such polarization between our good and our
bad," said junior forward Kevin Coble. "What killed us was our (17)
turnovers."

 

They kept Coble and Moore down the scoring list and beat us with steals (7).
They started 4 Frosh.
