[NU Sports] Pride of Illinois?

The "Northwestern University School of Speech" was unique in academia.
Everyone knew it was one of the best and we had a name that was different
than any other school teaching a speech related curriculum.
Once we became a school of Communications, we lost our "brand" and the
entire school is weaker for it.
Dyche was a dump, anyone who gave money to rename parts of it should get the
credit, altho they could have left it Dyche and just named the field Ryan.
Mr. Dyche deserves to be recognized somewhere, altho I think his name is on
one of the plaques outside the main entrance.
For the record, I am also at odds with my fraternity, Chi Phi for swapping
our 100+ year symbol, a 12 pointed star called a Chackett for some marketing
garbage "Authentic" Chi Phi. I don't send them any money either.

I agree with the no names --unless it;s just the Lincoln Trophy
But boy you are tough on the School of Speech--(if they had chnaged the name
from one benefactor to another, you may have a point,...but you are
entitled--but a tough guy nonetheless !)
You do go to Ryan Field, I assume, (even though it's still Dyche stadium !)
