I think having most of the O-line back and most of the defense back will help in the skill position transition.

What we definitely saw this year was far better depth than we've ever had in Evanston before. Injuries to the top two RBs, QB and LB would have absolutely devastated our team in recent years.

The new offensive leaders will struggle early (though Simmons has shown promise, as has Ebert at WR), but unlike past years, the defense can shoulder the load during the learning process.

Plus now we get those extra bowl practices to help.
