Some of the discussion here suggests that the Insight Bowl (and Motor City)
may not be under any requirement (beyond the NCAA rules) as to who they take
from the BT--and if true, certainly would be horribe if Wisky somehow booted us

Regarding Iowa,--trying to be a nuetral observer here (and it is not
easy)--I can see the argument about them going higher than us,even forgetting how
well they travel

The finish is alwyas considered more important than the start in post season
selection (hoops too!)--Sure they lost to us early, but they knocked PSU out
of a potential championship late in the season while also clobbering Minny on
the road-- While we did have a better over-all record (though an easier
non-conf schedule) we did tie in BT play--

If it was down to the 2 of us for the Rose Bowl and we both had one or two
losses losses, then we would look to head to head as the first tie-breaker--Now
not being a neutral observer, how the hell could they overtake us when we
beat them on the road ?

I am still PO'd for what happened in 2000 going to the 4th Bowl when we were
BT Tri-Champs
