[NU Sports] Remind me again who we should be rooting for tonight

Frankly, I'm not certain about anything as the bowls appear to have
negotiated various rules with the Big Ten office that aren't publicized.
However, what I posted earlier in the week is that if we get 2 Big Ten
bowls into the BCS, then the Outback and the Alamo are NOT constrained
by the normal rules, although the Capital One and the Champs bowls are
still bound by those rules. We also learned earlier in the week that
the Insight is never bound by the normal rules (although this should
now be irrelevant to the Cats with our win today). But even if the
Champs didn't have to follow the rule, I still think it would pick us
over Minnesota.
The following is the quote and cite again. It seems to be accurate as
it cites a specific person from the Big Ten office:
"If the Big Ten gets two BCS teams, then the two-win differential rule
is waived for the Outback and Alamo bowls, allowing them to pick
purely on preference, according to Big Ten assistant commissioner
Scott Chipman.
Such a rule is not waived for the Capital One and Champs Sports Bowls,
he said, so those bowls must pick based on the winningest team
available or one with one fewer loss. The Insight and Motor City bowls
don't have any rules regarding their selection. They can just pick
from the conference teams still remaining."
