[NU Sports] Bowl

Hate to disagree with my tech brother Paul, but I suspect his meds are affecting his normally clear thinking. 

Within the scope of their rules, the bowl folks are going to pick those teams they think will sell the most tickets.  

We control our own destiny with regard to bowls by winning as many games as we can and selling out our ticket allotment when we do get invited somewhere.

That said, I want to avoid Detroit too because we're likely to lose. The MAC is very strong this year. 

Let's take care business this weekend and get a bowl we can win.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'll take the Motor City and a bowl victory over the Alamo and a trouncing the likes of which Davy Crockett didn't envision.  How come we never hear about Notre Dame?  They're bowl eligible and always a family favorite with Darth Vader and his fellow bowl committee members.  I would like to play them in a bowl.
