Here are my predictions for the final Big Ten standings:
Penn State 11-1 (win over Michigan State)
Ohio State 10-2 (win over Michigan)
Michigan St. 9-3 (loss to Penn State)
Northwestern 9-3 (win over Illinois)
Iowa 8-4 (win over Minnesota)
Minnesota 7-5 (loss to Iowa)
Wisconsin 7-5 (win over Cal Poly)
Illinois 5-7 (loss to Northwestern)
Purdue 4-8 (win over Indiana)
Michigan 3-9 (loss to Ohio State)
Indiana 3-9 (loss to Purdue)
I believe this scenario picks the projected favorites to win in each of next week's games, with the possible exception of Iowa/Minnesota (because this is an away game for Iowa).
Given this scenario, these are the my bowl projections. I think Iowa will jump us to go to San Antonio based on their traveling fan base. I also think Wisconsin will jump Minnesota for the same reason. If we lose this weekend and end up 8-4, I think we still play in Orlando.
Penn State: Rose
Ohio State: BCS at large
Michigan State: Outback Bowl
Iowa: Alamo Bowl
NU: Champs Sports Bowl
Wisconsin: Insight Bowl
Minnesota: Motor City Bowl
Who would our opponent be in the Champs Sports Bowl? It's an ACC selection, but I can't find the selection criteria on the web.
