[NU Sports] NU--Michigan on the Deuce

If it is any comfort, I met with an OSU alum this afternoon who was at the game sitting on the NU side. He said he was very uneasy about running up the score.

As you get older, everything compresses and wins are wins regardless of
where they happened.

[Feeling battered and bruised after being taken to task by dOSU fans on the
Scout boards because I "suggested" that dOSU were pretty poor sports for
running up the score Saturday. Of course I just consider the source and feel

The only NU win in Ann Arbor since 1959 came in 1995.  The 1996 comeback win
was in Evanston, as was the 2000 54-51 barn-burner.

I know many 'Cats fans are heading out to the game this weekend (myself
included) and this definitely presents the best opportunity for a win there
in the last decade, not that it will be easy.

Well when you win twice in 40 years, it would be likely that you would have
a
bad record in Columbus (as well as at home agianst the Bucks) !  So
comparing
wins in Ann Arbor to wins in Columbus is a darn low hurdle !

I cant recall how many wins we have in Michigan in recent years, though
remember the 17-16 come from behind win in '96 -- not sure where the 2000
wild
finish win was--nor can't recall if we won any other games in A squared
