What got me about Well's 2nd TD run, the long one, was that much was made
about him escaping Gill, and nobody commented about the dOSU lineman who
fell on Gill's back as he was trying to wrap Wells up.
Gill had two hands on Wells' shirt when a offensive lineman sat on his back.
Wells escaped and scored.
I imagine that falling on a tackler is legal in college ball, but in some
leagues the lineman would have been flagged for a block in the back.
IMHO of course

What a weekend. I think that NU played well for 3 q's. especially when
Bacher and Sutton were out. OSU lived up to their hype; Pryor is "the real
deal", and Well's run to make it 14-7 was a thing of beauty.
Really, I think I saw a team wake up at our expense. NU rolled up a lot
of yards, made big defensive plays, and still got rolled. OSU killed us
softtly. With that said, Kafka left, up the middle, and then right won't
work
against OSU. I'm presuming Bacher's hamstring wasn't healed, as I was
looking
forward to a 2 QB backfield; an idea that looks better on inter net web
sites
than in reality.
Michigan looks like it has waken from it's season long slumber. If I
were Las Vegas, I'd install Michigan as a 2 point favorite after MU running
over
Minnesota. We're 7-3, and most of us thought we'd be 7-3 right about now.
Let's get to 9-3 and have some fun!
Eric
