Not only is our FB team ranked 24th in the BCS Poll, and about to play OSU in a highly-watched contest, but in last 24 hours our own alumna Susan Page, who was Editor in Chief of The Daily Northwestern when I was a sophomore (1971-72), has been on both CNN's (in piece that just ended) and MSNBC's (on "Hardball" last night with Chris Matthews) election coverage.? Susan is Washington Bureau Chief of USA TODAY, and previously served as Chief White House Correspondence for that paper, as well as LONG ISLAND NEWSDAY.?? Just another reason why we are so proud of the Purple and White institution on the lake.
