I agree, SJT, amazing game, and incredible finish.? I have a vision now--that Purple-clad fans rush the field next Saturday at around 2:45 p.m. C.S.T., as the underdog 'Cats pull off the big upset.? Until today's game I never let myself dream such things, but now, who knows.? We have a "D", and OSU does not seem to have a super "O" (Yet).?

Oh the schadenfreude of it all!
What an amazing game in Lubbock where Tech overcame some questionable calls
(from their coaches and the zebras) to top #1 Texas in what was - by Big XII
standards - a defensive classic.
So what now?
Well, the drumbeat from John Saunders and others already have no fewer than 50
teams jumping ahead of Penn State. Which is total bull. But with TTech facing
Okie State and Oklahoma yet and Bama visiting LSU before facing Florida, the
bigger question is what happens if we only have one unbeaten at the end of the
year?
Let the madness begin.
The voters kept Oklahoma #4 - highly overrated for a team with no D - but
dropped Okie State to #9, despite the Cowpokes playing Texas tougher and IN
Austin. Now they have figure out where Texas fits in there. Along with SC and
Florida, rolling it up against inferior competition (especially SC, but let's be
honest and call the SEC overrated as well this year).
And if PSU overlooks Iowa or drops one to MSU at home, then it will be just
crazy. But no signs of a playoff yet to give the excitement a fitting end
instead of the disaster it is once again headed for.
GO CATS!!!
