 What a amazing, amazing win!? No yards (maybe negative yards) from Conteh.?? Terrible injuries heading into the game, and more big injuries during the game--lose the lead, come back, hang on, and then pull it out with DEEEEFENSE, as SJT noted.? Mike Hankwitz should be cover boy on next issue of SI.? He is just a great, great coach.? Just ask Bielema, who lost on last-seconds FG, 'cause his "D" choked again.? And Fitz's positive intensity on the sideline today was just what the doctor ordered.? This is a defining game for the Fitz Era.? We are now IN a bowl for sure, and we beat a good team on the road at their Homecoming, with everything pointing the other way.? I never, ever thought Kafka would play this well.? I think he has to be in the mix next Sat. against the Bucks, even if CJ is fully recovered.? His elusiveness could possibly negate tOSU's dominant pash rush and outstanding LB's.?? I would probably use both QB's, and possibly even use Kafka at RB, as Andre Wade sort 
 of alluded to.? Unfortunately, McCall's seeming inability to figure out how to maximize Conteh's talents is turning him into a deficit, not an asset.? That must be fixed for next week and the two games after that.? If not, then Fitz better look down the depth chart, because the whole running attack cannot be based on Kafka and the QB option and draw.

A few other kudos--good game again by Demos, and some decent work by Villareal as well.? He was a little off-balance on the long attempt; otherwise, I think he might have made it.? And our Special Teams in general gave us good field position throughout much of the game.? A far cry from the disasters against MSU.? And our DB's in general did a fine job of tackling and limiting the YAC, even if Weber did have a pretty good number of completions.? Also, we limited our penalties today, and Minny got called for a few biggies in the 2nd half.

This feels so good, after last week, when I thought we blew the whole season to smithereens.? I am sitting here with my leg in a cast, trying to figure out if I'll be able to travel to a bowl.? It's not looking good, but it sure looks better than it did last Saturday.:-)

Our mail server is having intermittent problems that are affecting mail delivery 
to several ISPs, notably Comcast and Roadrunner.  

We think we've got a solution in place now, though it might take a day or so for
