[NU Sports] Softball season ends

Well, it wasn't just that - the seedings seemed a bit
wacky this year with #2 ASU getting the #6 overall
seed. Meanwhile, we tie Michigan for the Big Ten
title, split the season with them AND win the tourney
title yet the Wolverines get a #4 seed and we're
#11??? The Sun Devils were clearly underseeded and so
were we. Maybe we're not a top 8 seed, but we
shouldn't have been stuck at #2 in the superregionals!

Whatever the case, still another fantastic run by the
Wildcats softball team. It's been another successful
spring for the NU women's teams.

Hopefully the LAX team can cap it off with a four-peat
... though Penn is probably our toughest foe during
these past four seasons because of their defense and
patience. Still, gotta think that we're itchin' to
play them after the earlier loss and we'll have some
good adjustments.
