[NU Sports] NU's Female Stars; NU Sports Night in NYC

Just went to NU Athletics Web Site and was reading about all the action in  
Evanston this weekend on the distaff side.  This weekend sees NU hosting  Big 
Ten Softball Championships as reward for finishing first in Conference) and  NU 
Womens' Lax hosting Notre Dame on Sunday out on the Lakefill in first round  
of NCAA Tourney.  Not bad, eh?  Maybe we should recruit women to play  for our 
mens' hoops team.:-)
 
On another note, I received email from NU Club of Greater NY announcing the  
annual Sports Night, which occurs every Summer.  This year we have a triple  
treat--see announcement that follows:
 
Sports Night Will Be July 29
Football Coach Pat  Fitzgerald will visit New York along with new athletic 
director  Jim Phillips and coach of the National Champions Women's  lacrosse 
team Kelly Amonte-Hiller to celebrate Northwestern  athletics and Wildcat spirit.
