Good point - especially since the UW and UM systems
are so intertwined (not sure if they still offer it,
but when I was in high school, I could get in-state
tuition for UW or UM schools and vice versa for
Minnesota grads). Still, I hear Tubby's upset by who
Bo snuck out of the Land of 10,000 Lakes this year for
recruiting.

But ugh - not a good day for the Big Ten yesterday but
still a better tourney for us than most predicted.
We'll be back. The talent level of the coaches in this
league is really getting good from top to bottom -
this was a transition year, but soon Iowa, Minnesota
and Michigan will be up there with Wisky, MSU and OSU.
Heck, Purdue jumped ahead of schedule and made the
leap this year.

The big question league-wise (other than us - who
appear to have a well-respected coach but no results)
appears to be in the two Assembly Halls. Indiana needs
to get a big name to stay big time. Their AD took a
stupid risk on Sampson and it's gonna hurt them - but
not making a good "next hire" could be even worse. And
at Illinois, there's no doubt Webber can coach. Few
coaches get as much out of their players consistently
as Webber. But he just can't recruit. Every big-name
recruit in Illinois has gone elsewhere under Webber's
reign and he needs to do something about that in a
hurry.

Here's hoping the regional finals are a heck of a lot
more interesting than those Sweet 16 blah-outs.

GO CATS!!!
