In the annual look at the top seeds' graduation rates,
only a few make the cut - surprised how low some of
these are (even Duke's is pretty low for them!).
Congrats to Purdue for representing the Big Ten well.

As for the Big Ten itself, not sure it will be a good
tourney for us. Wisconsin not only got robbed of a #2
seed, but got the toughest lower half of a bracket for
any #3 seed -- USC or Beasley (in Omaha) for round 2
with Georgetown waiting? UGH! And once IU and Purdue
slipped so low, it was clear OSU's bubble had burst.
MSU actually might be the only Sweet 16 team from the
league.
I just kept thinking during the selection show how fun
this would be for football - yeah, there will always
be controversy (ASU got shafted out here - beating U
of A twice AND finishing a game higher in a league
with a true round-robin schedule!) ... but great fun
to see where the committee seeds everyone. Dare to
dream.:)
And speaking of dreaming ... here's to seeing the
purple in March Madness one of these years!
GO CATS!!!
