Since 1947, 54 Division I schools have never gone to the Big Dance.? However, many of these schools have been in Division I for fewer than 10 years.

Army? (the 1943-44 team was undefeated but declined because of World War II)

NORTHWESTERN? (yes, the only BCS school)
