[NU Sports] Big Ten Schedules Out Through 2012

Well ... aside from that 2-year cycle we were stuck missing Minny and IU, I'd say the Big Ten schedulemaker definitely likes the Cats. I can hear the groans from my friends in Wisconsin already.:) Granted, missing Michigan the next two years may not be as nice a deal as it usually is as Rodriguez rebuilds, but still will be nice to have an extra break between Bucknuts' visits to Evanston. And missing MSU in a few years may be a better deal than appears now if Dantoni stays and can capitalize on Michigan's down year or two.

As for the finales - I like finishing with the Badgers as much as the Illini - good rivalries both. It appears that the years we have Michigan at the end that we might have the dreaded "bye week finale" on the Big Ten rotation that Wisky has this year. Hello season finale against Buffalo!:)

Kinda sucks to not end against Iowa, Illinois or Wisconsin (I don't care how much they shove Purdue down our throat, those are our three real rivals) ... who will the Illini face the final week? Wisconsin?
