Naw, Mark's wisely stayed out of this because it's really a no-win for him. Let Thompson take the heat from fans for being the guy who either forced out a legend or traded him.

That's why they won't just release him. No way will they let Favre go to Minnesota or Chicago.

Whatever the case, Murphy walked in on it afterwards and really can't win by saying anything.
