[NU Sports] New Defensive Coordinator

I can't imagine Fitz stepping way back from the defense - just so he doesn't try
to micromanage.
I noticed that Washington also took a new job with daBares, leaving Bates and
Brown as the remaining defensive assistants. I always liked Washington's work
with the players, altho I keep hearing that players thought he had "favorites" -
probably guys who did it his way got more playing time. In any case, the biggest
disappointment was the development of Whootton and that just might be the lack
of a credible rush inside.
Fans of the 3-4 are probably upset today, those who believe in a 4-3 should be
happy.
