[NU Sports] Tiller on the way out at Purdue?

No it started in December 1939,when  the U of Chicago board decided in  a 
series of special meetings to get out of intercollegiate football.  At  that time 
a big time college football coach could make $25,000 and a full  professor 
made $5,000.  The NU faculty has been against big time football  ever since.
