And look at UCLA's recent records, despite being in a hotbed of talent (at
least according to those reputed recruiting circles).. hence why Dorrell was
shown the door after this year.
Regarding Hawaii, they are in a completely different situation being in the
WAC - I would not compare BCS to non BCS conference teams as the overall pay
scale and expectations are different. Plus, Hawaii is Hawaii - how many
people would take a pay cut to have a chance to work there (plus they have
the advantage of being the only football show in town, drawing in recruits
by just saying how about a 4 year vacation, and less pressure from the local
media).
