[NU Sports] Tiller on the way out at Purdue?

What facts lead you to assume that money is an issue?
The only evidence that I am aware of where money was an issue with in the
past 15 years were with Barnett and Taylor. From all that we can tell, NU
has learned from that. From what little information we have, RW was paid
quite well. Murphy hired some of the best coaches in the country in women's
softball and lacrosse and they have produced.
There was some discussion that I've seen recently where at least one
assistant coach said that it was expensive to live in Evanston, but I think
that we already knew that. The real issue for assistant coaches is what the
opportunities for advancement are.
I share your anxiety about these open positions. NU is going to take its
time in finding a successor to Murphy and I suspect that, more than anything
else, is having some affect on closing the deal on new hires.

Why hasn't NU been able to find an AD or offensive and defensive
coordinators? I fear that NU is once again going on the cheap which gave us
the disasters preceding Barnett's arrival that kept us in the Big Ten.
