:) - good one, Joe. The first time is looking more charmed each time. Last year it shocked me how unprepared the Bucks were for the game. This year they were prepared at the start, but Tressel and his staff just had no adjustments once LSU settled in and reacted to OSU's gameplan. Really shocking lack of coaching in two big games from someone who's always been a big-game coach. And those personal fouls? Ugh - the roughing the kicker to start the second half was huge. Still a heck of a job overall. I had them 4th in the league in the preseason and most thought that this was the "rebuilding" year after losing so much last year.
Oh well, not too many tears to shed for the Bucknuts. But it does make the Big Ten look bad. The OSU-USC non-conference game next year will be huge for the Bucks. If their underclassmen return, they'll be favored to run the table in the Big Ten. That alone might not get them in given the (unfair) pounding the league has taken the past year. But beating USC in September would be big.
Overall, not too bad for the league - our big three played three road games and came out with that big win in Orlando. Illinois and OSU did about as expected and Michigan exceeded - that was the team everyone had in the preseason top 5. And like I said, our record vs. the SEC is still 4-4 in the past few years, though those two title game losses sting.
Another blah BCS year. Hard to see a 2-loss team that didn't really look impressive since September being crowned as champion. Last year I felt Florida was the second-best team in the SEC at the end of the year to LSU and this year I feel the same way with Georgia as the SEC's top team. Shame the SEC title game has failed to match those two up either year thanks to a weird, unbalanced schedule and tiebreak - they'd have been two great games. And the games were another round of snoozers as well - Kansas/VaTech was so-so and last year's Fiesta was a classic but the other eight were big snoozers. Thanks BCS!
GO CATS!!!

As for the Buckeyes, first time was the charm for Tressel! It's
conceivable
he could make it back to the title game for a fourth time next year,
though.
I just wish tOSU would stop making the Big Ten look bad. :) FWIW, I
think
it would have been a completely different game had Robiskie not dropped
that
TD pass that turned into zero points after the blocked FG attempt.
Instead,
that swung the momentum heavily LSU's way and it was downhill from
there
until the Bucks were in a hole too deep to climb out.
