Fitz is a remarkable communicator, and comes at the listener from three directions - well spoken, award-winning on-the-field, and perfect integrity.? Zook, Weis and most of the other area coaches can't match these credentials.? He should be 'Chicago's Coach'
(Being a South Suburbanite earns him extra credit...)

Actually - with all of the TV production capability at NU [over at the J-School
and the School of Speech], you would think that producing a coach's show would
be a tremendous opportunity for a student internship or two.
During my internship at WBBM, one of my classmates was interning with Bret
Mussberger, cutting up game video for the weekend sports. Not sure what the
arrangement was, but back then the BBM internship paid a princely $100 per week,
and we got credit for 3 or 4 courses.
It would take someone from the SID office to be the executive producer, but it
seems to me that it would sure look good on a resume if you were involved. NU
does produce a daily newspaper with all student help, after all...
