The job of AD at Northwestern goes way beyond trying to build Basketball - NU
has a tremendous athletic program going, with teams in serious contention for
division and national championships in two of the tougher sports to build -
Softball and Lacrosse.
However, the new AD's short term success will be measured by how well Fitz
continues to grow Football, and how well the Basketball teams grow. The new
offices and lockers will help - a few good wins at home will also.
