[NU Sports] Is tonight the night ?

According to this morning's Chicago Tribune, six IU players missed practice  
yesterday and threatened to miss tonight's game vs. the Cats.  They were  
angry that IU paid misbehaving coach Kelvin Sampson to 'go away'.
 
The fact that a fine institution like Indiana would pay a coach a large sum  
of money, after he violated his NCAA 'probation' for previous violations, just 
 so they can dismiss him without having him sue them, has to be evidence that 
 shoddiness in 'amateur athletics' is alive and well.
