I finally got a chance to see some NU Hoops - unfortunately it was the Purdue
game....

This team will probably be much improved next year, and if a big guy drifts into
Evanston, one that can pass, we'll be playing very well.

There is an interesting article in SI this week [no not the one with the half
naked ladies] about Memphis' Dribble Dribble Motion offense that draws much of
its inside game from Pete Carrill and the "Princeton" offense. I thought I saw
some of it sneaking into Thompson's game, with him driving the lane for layups.

But we still can't shoot FTs and we miss 'dem bunnies. During PU's long run in
the 2nd half, NU missed a whole bunch of layups, and freethrows. Even Tim Doyle
had to comment that you can't win doing that.

As for BC - I won't call for his head just yet - but he's got to get a big guy
6-9+ or we're going to get defeated easily next year too.
