[NU Sports] Worst basketball seasons ever?

Can't argue with that --But I have been follwoing NU b-ball for over 30 years 
and we probably have gotten no more than a dozen , dozen and a half  really 
good recruits during that time--only one  played  pro  for any length of time . 
We have had several coaches during that time, all with  a different angles on 
why they could recruit better than the last one, but to no avail.

We have made the NIT a few times (each time by the skin of our teeth and 
aided by an easy non-conf schedule)- and nothing else- In short we have been ,an 
embarassment to the BT 

I don't have an easy answer--obivously the academics is an issue, but 
shouldn't be leaned on, since Duke and  Stanford do quite well , Vandy generally 
well--But obviously we have failed miserably at men's hoops--

I would love to hear suggestions that we haven't tried that might work to get 
us to be respectable--
